Nestled within the Helsinki Ring of Industry, Kirkkonummi stands as one of the key players in the region’s industrial landscape, also housing the Prysmian Group’s flagship cable manufacturing facility. The Pikkala plant, situated in Kirkkonummi, is spearheading innovations in cable technology, contributing significantly to the global energy transition.

Prysmian Group, the world’s leading cable manufacturer, has strategically positioned its Pikkala plant as a center of excellence to produce high-tech cables, particularly for land and submarine interconnections. The recent €220 million investment in expanding the Pikkala plant’s production capacity underlines Prysmian’s commitment to staying at the forefront of technological advancements.
